Schutzhund 3 Club

INTRODUCTION: The North American Working Bouvier Association (NAWBA) wishes to recognize those owner handled and trained dog teams that achieve the title of Schutzhund 3 by listing their names in the “Schutzhund 3 Club” and presenting each qualifying handler dog team a NAWBA “Schutzhund 3 Club” award. This award is an acknowledgement of the OWNER who trained and handled the dog to a Schutzhund 3 title.
PURPOSE: To recognize the accomplishments of Bouvier owners who have attained the titles of SchH 3, VPG 3 and IPO 3 on an individual Bouvier that they own, have trained and have handled from a BH title to a SchH 3, VPG 3 and IPO 3 title. The dog must be handler owned and trained ("HOT").
The applicant must comply with all of the following:
1. All titles must be earned under a DVG, SV or FCI Judge.
2. The titles of BH, SchH 1, VPG 1 and IPO 1, SchH 2, VPG 2 and IPO 2, and SchH 3, VPG 3 and IPO 3; must be earned by the same owner/handler on a previously untitled dog.
3. All titles must be obtained at an event held by an American Working Dog Federation (AWDF) member club, German Shepherd Schutzhund Club of Canada, WDA, and/or events held or sponsored by an FCI, SV, WUSV recognized organization.
4. Members must be either a current NAWBA member or have held membership in good standing at a time of trailing toward achievement of the 3rd level.
5. It is the responsibility of the owner/handler to complete the NAWBA Schutzhund 3 Club Application for Membership and to provide the NAWBA Schutzhund 3 Club Chairperson with the required documentation supporting the earned titles.
Application for NAWBA Schutzhund 3 Club membership shall be submitted on the NAWBA Application for Membership form and mailed to the NAWBA Schutzhund 3 Club Chairperson.
NAWBA will provide to each Schutzhund 3 Club Member a “Schutzhund 3 Club” award and publish in the NAWBA Journal on an annual basis, the SchH 3 Club membership list. Other "Schutzhund 3 Club" merchandise may be available for purchase by the awardees'.

* If the handler/dog team earned their SchH1 degree prior to the rules requiring a BH title as a prerequisite for the SchH1, the BH is not required for membership in the SchH3 Club.
Provide with the application the following:
1. Photocopy of dog’s registration certificate indicating ownership
2. Photocopy of your NAWBA recognized score book(s) showing name of dog, scorebook
number and titles earned.
I certify that all information on this application is true and correct. I understand that any misrepresentation on this application is immediate cause for disqualification from the NAWBA Schutzhund 3 Club.
